I think it’s super important for folks searching for a photographer to feel a connection with the person who is documenting the moments and emotions that matter most. Photos help tell the story of your life - and I’ve dedicated my entire career to the mastery of this art form, and the experience that comes with it.
I’m excited to invite you into my world, so I can best capture yours.

I’m a yapper. I love knowing the reason behind your favourite playlist, your grandmother’s full life story, while giving you a running commentary on how incredible you look. I have never once said the words cheese and I'm not planning to start.
By the end of the night I'm usually on the dance floor. It isn't a service I advertise. It just keeps happening.
Love is love, and all people deserve to feel it.
Anyone in front of my camera should feel comfortable, safe and appreciated, regardless of gender, sexuality, race or body size. The love between two people and the love someone holds for themselves both deserve to be documented in a way that empowers them. I work proudly with LGBTQIA+ couples and individuals, and I'm happy to adjust any session to accommodate accessibility needs.

I met my husband at a wedding I was working. He was the best man, my clients decided we'd get along, our first date was a flight to Thailand, and six years later we eloped in Switzerland.
At thirteen I auditioned for Canada's Got Talent because my dad's friend offered me a hundred dollars to sing in front of a panel of judges. I love travelling solo - and love travelling with my couples even more - reaching 30 countries before my 30th birthday.
Everyone gets their start somewhere, and I’m happy to give you a seat at my table.
When I began my business,I moved to a new city and emailed dozens of photographers hoping someone would show me the ropes. One person said yes. I promised myself I'd be that person, which is why I mentor and run retreats that create portfolios and connections that launch careers. I want to give back to the art form that has given me my dream life.

A little about me and my work
My approach to photography and life is “all in the name of love”.
My work is inspired and influenced by love. I want to get to know my clients (and the people that matter to them) on a personal level so I can witness and document the love that swirls around them. I intentionally craft an experience where we have space to develop a relationship - we’ll take breaks, prioritize locations or activities that feel comfortable to you, and use reassuring language that helps give direction and confidence when needed.
I’m there when you (or the day) needs me, and allow a moment to unfold as it naturally will, when you don’t. My camera is always present, but so am I: appreciating every part of you, all in the name of love.

Nothing makes me happier than when someone’s love story involves plane tickets, and a grand adventure to somewhere new or meaningful.

We'll be a good fit if
You know the wedding photos that are made from real, raw moments of vulnerability, emotion, and pure love will always be better than ones made from a shot list. You're up for being a little silly and a little vulnerable in front of someone you trust. You want photographs with rich, warm colour, some motion blur, the occasional direct flash, and the sense that somebody really saw you as you were.
We're probably not a fit if
You are worried about arms and legs. You've emailed fifteen photographers with the same message. Your wedding is planned down to the nearest five minutes. You care more about recreating your Pinterest board than being at your own wedding.
