Celebration feels sacred in Mexico
There’s something undeniable about Mexico, and I feel it every time I land there as a wedding photographer: the way the sun hits the ocean, the rhythm in the air, the colours that seem to dance with you. It’s a place where celebration feels sacred and time slows down just enough to soak it all in.
Whether you’re surrounded by palms on the coast or tucked away in a colonial town, your wedding here becomes more than a day. It becomes an experience full of feeling, texture, and soul. I’m there to document every bit of it with honesty and heart, so you can return to those memories anytime you need to feel it all over again.
From golden beaches to warm ocean water, I blend honest candids with editorial portraits, so your photos feel elevated and uniquely yours.
Featured Mexico wedding: Kayla + Jeff in Cancun
Photographing this Mexico wedding felt like stepping into something magical. Surrounded by just their closest people, the day was warm, intentional, and full of heart. The palms, the ocean breeze, and that vibrant energy created the perfect atmosphere. From getting ready in a breezy villa to their heartfelt vows on the beach, every moment unfolded with meaning.
Just a few days before we left for Mexico, the forecast was calling for a cyclone. It was supposed to rain the entire week of the wedding, but just as we got off the plane, it changed. It rained every day that week except the wedding day, and Mother Nature even sent a breeze during the ceremony.
After saying “I do”, Kayla and Jeff ran straight into the ocean in their wedding outfits. Then they celebrated under the stars with music and margaritas. It was relaxed, joyful, and beautifully untraditional, the kind of love story that feels effortless and sun-soaked.

Where I’ve photographed in Mexico
I’ve travelled throughout Mexico, from Cancun to Tulum. During Kayla & Jeff’s adventure session in Tulum, we visited one of the most beautiful cenotes I’ve ever seen. Hidden in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by lush greenery and the clearest blue water, it genuinely felt like we had stumbled upon another world. Getting to photograph them somewhere so unbelievably beautiful was one of those experiences that reminded me just how much I love what I do.
My Mexico-specific advice for engaged couples
- One of the best things about getting married at a resort in Mexico is having all your favourite people together for more than just one day. You get an entire vacation with the people you love most, and your wedding becomes just one part of the experience.
- My biggest piece of advice for couples getting married at a resort in Mexico is to plan your ceremony around the lighting, not just the resort’s schedule. That beautiful midday sunshine might look amazing by the pool, but it’s incredibly harsh for photos. A ceremony later in the afternoon can make such a difference!
Best time of year to get married in Mexico
Favourite months to shoot would be from December to April to avoid hurricane season and the extreme heat of the summer months!
Booking a Mexico wedding photographer: what to know
Travel is included in your package price, so you aren’t booking flights or working out where I’m staying.
I can help you find hidden gems or trusted local contacts if you need them.
Most destination couples book twelve to twenty-four months out.
Ask me where I’ll already be that year. Sometimes the dates line up and it saves you a significant amount.
See wedding packages for what’s included.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Travel is included in your package price, so you never book flights or accommodation for me.
Most couples book me twelve to twenty-four months before an Italian wedding.
We plan for it together when we build your timeline. In Cancun, a week-long rain forecast cleared just in time for Kayla and Jeff’s day.
Both. The approach is the same whether it’s the two of you or your whole guest list.
