Ireland leaves a mark on your soul
Ireland has a way of leaving a mark on your soul, and as a wedding photographer, I can’t think of a better place to begin forever. Whether you’re saying your vows atop dramatic cliffs, in an ancient stone chapel, or beneath the moody skies of the Irish countryside, Ireland sets the scene for a love story full of wild beauty and timeless charm.
I’m here to capture all the emotion of your Ireland wedding day, so you can relive it for decades to come.
From the misty Cliffs of Moher to the romance of an old Irish manor, I photograph every detail of your day with intention and heart. I blend documentary-style candids with editorial portraits, creating images that feel natural, elevated, and deeply personal. Every love story is unique, and your photos should be too.

Styled wedding inspiration in Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland · May
Photographing this intimate wedding inspiration in Northern Ireland felt like capturing a daydream. Set against rugged cliffs and rolling green hills, every detail was chosen with care, from the windswept florals to the vintage lace gown. It was calm, intentional, and full of the kind of beauty that stops you in your tracks.
We embraced the moodiness of the Irish landscape, letting the overcast skies and wild coastline set the tone. We weren’t working around anyone’s schedule, only a couple, a vision, and a story to tell. It was a celebration of connection, artistry, and the magic Ireland always brings.

Where I’ve photographed in Northern Ireland
Dunluce Castle
Castle ruins sitting right on the edge of dramatic coastal cliffs. Perfect for romantic, moody portraits with an almost medieval feel.
The Dark Hedges
A beautiful tunnel of intertwined beech trees. Especially gorgeous on foggy mornings when the whole road feels like something out of a movie.

Giant’s Causeway
Thousands of hexagonal basalt columns along the ocean. Such a unique backdrop, especially for wide editorial shots. Early mornings are ideal for avoiding crowds.
My Ireland-specific advice for engaged couples
- Don’t be afraid of a little wind. I actually LOVE photographing in windy conditions, especially along the coast of Northern Ireland. A long veil blowing in the wind with dramatic cliffs in the background? SO beautiful. Just make sure your hairstyle can handle it and that your veil is secured properly. The wind can be pretty intense!
- Always have a rain plan. If you’re getting married in Northern Ireland, you need to be prepared for rain, regardless of the season. I actually think the overcast skies make the landscapes even more beautiful in photos. But having some flexibility in your timeline and a backup indoor location will make your day so much less stressful.
- Consider a castle or manor house for your wedding venue. Northern Ireland has some absolutely incredible historic properties, and I think they’re such an underrated option for destination weddings. You can have an elegant, luxurious wedding inside a beautiful estate and still head out to the coast for some incredible portraits.
- Give yourself more time than you think you’ll need. One thing I would never recommend is trying to squeeze five different coastal locations into a two hour adventure session. Some of the most beautiful spots require walking, navigating narrow roads or climbing steep stairs. I’d much rather spend more time exploring a couple of incredible locations than rush through a bunch of them just to get the photos.
Best time of year to get married in Ireland
My favourite months: May, June and September
I think May and June are some of the most beautiful months to photograph in Northern Ireland. Everything is SO green, the days are incredibly long and you have plenty of daylight to explore the coastline without feeling rushed. September is another favourite because the light starts getting softer earlier in the evening, the landscapes are still beautiful and some of the busiest tourist spots are a little quieter.
The months I’d avoid: December and January
Not because Northern Ireland isn’t beautiful in the winter, but because the days are SO short. When you’re planning an elopement or adventure session that involves exploring multiple locations, having limited daylight can make things a lot more challenging. Add in the colder temperatures, strong coastal winds and unpredictable weather, and you have a lot less flexibility to work with.
Booking an Ireland wedding photographer: what to know
Travel is included in your package price, so you aren’t booking flights or working out where I’m staying.
Most destination couples book twelve to twenty-four months out.
Ask me where I’ll already be that year. Sometimes the dates line up and it saves you a significant amount.
See wedding packages for what’s included.

Both. The approach is the same whether it’s the two of you or your whole guest list.
